Fig Newtons?

Are fig Newtons poisonous to dogs if they eat one?

Fig Newtons?
No. Dogs are not allergic to any of the ingredients in fig newtons. But if they eat a whole carton, they may throw up. Dogs usually don't eat things with much sugar.

I wouldn't intentionally give my dog a fig newton...
Reply:No, fig newtons are not. However, if you have a small dog, I would break it up into smaller pieces as the cookie's chewy consistancy may cause your dog to choke.
Reply:If your dog enjoyed it, I don't think it's poisonous. But chocolate in large quantity will be poisonous to dogs and cats.
